		<description>This post really helped me. I have been getting those errors you mentioned for months now once the backup file grew to 30GB, even though there is free space on the disk. I usually have to do a manual backup when that happens and select the option to overwrite existing file rather than append it.</description>

Thank you very much for the tip.  We had exactly the same problem, and we were pulling our hair. 

Once, we removed the &quot;compress&quot; flag, everything is working fine.
